The new Kalia beach is the northernmost Dead Sea beach, located only a 30-miunte drive form Jerusalem.
The sea and the beach can be seen from the large balcony at the entrance, overlooking the spacious blue pavilions, the small huts for rent, and the colorful parasols decorating the beach. There, you can float on the warm salty water and coat yourself in the black mud known for its special healing abilities.
Kalia Beach also features a shop that sells souvenirs, cosmetics and snacks. For an extra charge, you can make a reservation to pitch your tent on the lawn and spend the night, or sleep in the expansive Bedouin tent. Bedouin meals, spa treatments, ATV rides, horseback ride, camels rides and lots of other activities can be ordered.
